[SOLD OUT!] I'll be Conducting a Workshop at Gardens by the Bay!

UPDATE: Thanks for your overwhelming support!
ALL the slots for my workshop have been taken! Do check out the other workshops cool happening on the same day! Check out my next blog post on future workshops I'll be conducting!

Hi Friends!

The banner above looks a bit familiar, doesn't it? 😅

I am THRILLED to share with you that I will be conducting my first in-person workshop at Gardens by the Bay! This is certainly a dream come true. Every visit I have made to the Gardens has always left me inspired to draw more, and marvel at God's creation!

I will be sharing about different kinds of plants (God's marvelous handiwork!), and also lead in a simple activity where participants can make their own card(s) to take home by stamping plants, and images of plants. I planned it such that it’s suitable for all ages, no drawing experience required. :) So someone like my 2 year-old (with supervision), a young adult or an older aunty/uncle can also participate.😅 It will also be a great opportunity to finally meet some of you in person!

Plant Stamping Workshop With Artist Emily Seck
Date: 5 February 2022 (Saturday)
Time: 10am to 11am
Venue : Otah and Friends at Cannonball Room

This is done in collaboration with a photo exhibition Nature Photographic Society and is part of a launch of a photography exhibition along the colonnade nearby called ‘The Silver Lining’, a celebration of nature in the time of pandemic. This photography exhibition runs from 5 February to 31 March 2022

After the workshop, I plan to be outside 'Otah & Friends' at the launch stall selling some of my stuff… whatever I can manage! 😅

Spaces for the workshops are limited due to safety measures. So do sign up ASAP.

If you are unable to make it to my workshop, there are many fun workshops going on that very same day too, such as my cool friend Maureen who will be conducting a Storytelling and Wildlife quiz... She has written 2 books featuring local wildlife which are incredibly funny. I'd also like to add that she's the one who roped me into this in the first place!

Tickets for all the workshops are available at an affordable $1 with proceeds going to the Nature Photographic Society.

Hope to see you there if you are in the area!

Blessings,
Emily Seck
